As early as you can. Top Movers 4 U can usually accommodate last‑minute moves, even same‑day requests, and many customers book on short notice. Still, giving yourself more time means better preparation and less stress.

There are busy and slow periods throughout the year. April through September is peak season, and the busiest days fall between the 25th and the 3rd of each month. Most leases start or end around the 1st or 15th, which makes our schedule fill up faster.

We generally recommend about two weeks’ notice, but certain days or weeks may be booked further in advance. You’ll also want enough time to gather estimates and compare them before choosing a mover.

Ideally, begin planning at least one month before your expected move date. That gives you time to research companies, schedule any on‑site estimates, review quotes, make your decision, and secure your spot.

Top Movers 4 U has a dedicated claims manager and expert repair person on staff. If you opted for additional valuation and the item is repairable, it will be repaired. If it is deemed irreparable, you will be reimbursed for the depreciated value at the time of damage. If you opt for outside insurance coverage, all claims will be handled by the insurance company directly. 

Moving on the East Coast, 7-14 business days and moving from the East to West Coast, 14-21 business days, from the EARLIEST REQUESTED DATE shipment can be received. 

 A “certificate of insurance” is generally documentation of General Liability, Automobile Liability and Workers Compensation insurance. Many large or commercial buildings require documentation of such coverage in the form of a certificate; many as well have minimum limits of liability requirements. Top Movers 4 U carries in excess of $1,000,000 coverage there’s is no charge for the certificate of insurance. The certificate of insurance does not provide coverage for your goods; additional valuation or insurance must be purchased separately.
